CASE #468A WESTLAKE STORE #284
CASE REPORT SUMMARY
Store 284 was the first Westlake ACE Hardware location with reports of unexplained activity. Vibrating shelves and items falling to the floor were documented by employees prior to HAMR’s investigation. Aural manifestations have been noted, as well.
Special note: Store 284’s disturbances are confined to electrical, tools and, oddly, safety gear.
VIDEO SURVEILLANCE RESULTS
Camera: 2 (Octavius) Timecode: 1:16:23
Location: Electrical
* Anomaly detected *
Single frame confirms unidentified form headed toward electrical. Previous employee reports indicate missing and jumbled inventory in circuit breakers and boxes. Related?
AUDIO SURVEILLANCE RESULTS
Audio Deck: 3 Timecode: 02:08:16
Location: Electrical
* Anomaly detected *
Transient noise. Initial analysis suggests, “junction box.”
Further investigation required.
Audio Deck: 6 Timecode: 02:12:24
Location: Electrical
* Anomaly detected *
Transient noise. Initial analysis suggests, “ground.”
Further investigation required.
INSTRUMENTATION RESULTS
Electromagnetic Field: No spikes detected
Carbon Monoxide Levels: No appreciable CO detected
Barometric Pressure: Pressure change detected
Infrared Thermometer: 2° temperature decline noted
Radiation: No radiation detected above baseline
CASE #468B WESTLAKE STORE #327
CASE REPORT SUMMARY
Store 327 is the second Westlake ACE Hardware location to report paranormal activity. In this location, disturbances center around lighting: various styles of bulbs have been found multiple times at store opening. Potentially significant, all bulbs have been of lower wattage and would result in dim lighting. Aural manifestations have been noted here as well.
Special note: Store 327’s anomalies were mainly found in lighting, but one investigator did find traces of rope lights wrapped around decor items.
VIDEO SURVEILLANCE RESULTS
Camera: 4 (Copernicus) Timecode: 5:28:55
Location: Lighting
* Anomaly detected *
Video reveals fluorescent bulb dropping from display to floor. Also appears to be some sort of apparition reaching for said package. Cause could be incidental. Further investigation required.
AUDIO SURVEILLANCE RESULTS
Audio Deck: 1 Timecode: 03:46:16
Location: Electrical
* Anomaly detected *
Transient noise. Initial analysis suggests a “sigh”.
Further investigation required.
Audio Deck: 2 Timecode: 03:30:05

Barometric Pressure: No pressure change detected
Infrared Thermometer: No temperature change noted
Radiation: No radiation detected above baseline
CASE #468C WESTLAKE STORE #168
CASE REPORT SUMMARY
Store 168 is the third in a series of disturbances at various Westlake ACE Hardware locations. Manifestations at this store have been confined to the Tools department, so far. This investigation has been particularly exciting, due to the specific area of activity. Minor disturbances that might pass unnoticed elsewhere cause tools on display to sway on their pegs. This motion catches and reflects light, which can be seen in video recordings. Additionally, this motion creates noise, which is relatively easy to capture with audio equipment.
Special note: A/V captures were exceptionally robust at this location. The investigation team is considering advanced tactics that may enable contact to be made.
VIDEO SURVEILLANCE RESULTS
Camera: 5 (Amidala) Timecode: 2:13:27
Location: Tools
* Anomaly detected *
Video reveals unidentified luminosity moving within tool section. Simultaneous motion of products on display in aisle was also noted. Disturbance seemed to pause at end of aisle before continuing. Significance unknown. Further investigation required.
AUDIO SURVEILLANCE RESULTS
Audio Deck: 5 Timecode: 02:14:02
Location: Tools
* Anomaly detected *
Transient noise. Initial analysis suggests metal-on-metal contact. Further investigation required.
Audio Deck: 8 Timecode: 04:39:54
Location: Tools
* Anomaly detected *
Transient noise. Initial analysis suggests scraping.
Further investigation required.
INSTRUMENTATION RESULTS
